Harry Styles Joins Marvel’s Eternals

According to TMZ, Harry styles is reportedly set to star in Marvel Studios’ upcoming film, Eternals, directed by Chloé Zhao.

A journalist from Variety is apparently the one responsible for blowing the lid off of the situation when he tweeted this massive spoiler after attending the premiere today in Los Angeles, CA.

Harry joins the ranks of Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Angelina Jolie, and his old Dunkirk co-star Barry Keoghan for his unexpected Marvel debut. He is reportedly set to portray Thanos’ little brother Eros in the upcoming feature. (Why am I pretending like I know anything about comics or the Marvel Franchise??)

Perhaps fortunately for some, you won’t have to wait long to see Harry become a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as the film is set to release in less than one month on November 5, 2021. So…yay?

**Try to be happy, try to be happy, try to be happy!**

Phuck, it sucks that I can’t feel true happiness for his success in the realm of acting anymore, as I feel like he has truly sold himself out and is literally pretending to be a straight boy just for his new career. (I’m still excited about My Policeman though.)

Eros is also reportedly supposed to be a “womanizer,” so I’d imagine Harry is choosing to fall back on his old PR antics and rakish media perception as a method of character study. How laughable.

From Nylon:

“According to a Marvel fandom website, Eros is the youngest son of two Eternals. Though he was originally born Eron, his parents renamed him Eros due to his interest in women, which also put him at direct odds with his older brother: former MCU Big Bad, Thanos. While Thanos focused on world domination, Eros is described as a “fun-loving, carefree womanizer” who only began to take life seriously once his brother began launching attacks on other societies.
